We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist in our corporate HQ in downtown Vancouver.The Receptionist will be the face of Article. Their main responsibilities will be greeting visitors, answering inquiries, office maintenance and completing a variety of administrative tasks.SkillsCommunication skills, Organisational skills, Reception duties, -Administrative work, Calendar CoordinationSectorsResponsibilities Presenting a positive and professional image of Article to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.Responding to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries.Maintaining the reception area in a tidy and presentable manner.Accepting and managing inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence.Coordinating the logistics of departmental programs, such as meetings, seminars, special projects, and events.Arranging meetings and travel bookings, ordering office supplies and keep track of incurred expenses.Ensuring that the appropriate evacuation procedures are carried out in the event of an emergency.Observing and reporting any security issues to the Office Manager.Ordering, managing and shipping fabric swatches to customers.Providing backup assistance for customer refunds and charges.Requirements High school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.Direct work experience in a receptionist or customer service capacity.Strong knowledge of general office procedures involving procurement, travel arrangements, budget management.Typing skills of at least 50 words per minute.General mathematical skills.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Meticulous records maintenance skills.Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of staff and customers.Ability to lift items as heavy as 50 lbs.Strong customer service orientation.Benefits We want Article to be an amazing place to work, and we take care of our team.
