Job Description

Temporary Receptionist -Downtown Vancouver

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Temporary Receptionist for our Downtown Vancouver client to assist with vacation coverage. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering phones, mail and couriers, booking meeting rooms and special projects as required. This is a professional, corporate environment and as the Receptionist you will also be communicating directly with clients, both in person and over the phone.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Managing a multi-line, mid volume switchboard
  • Greeting guests
  • Setting up meeting rooms and booking boardrooms
  • Mail and couriers
  • Data entry
  • Minimal kitchen responsibilities
  • Special Projects as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Reception role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional phone manner
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with online couriers

Compensation:

  • $16.00 per hour
