The primary role is to be an initial point of contact for incoming communications and will direct all inquiries within the organization. This person will also oversee the mailroom, handle occasional order processing, and special projects as assigned. Integrity, communication, motivation, professionalism and enthusiasm are key components of this position.Be the first point of contact for incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate departments as necessary.Process customer orders on occasion and assist customer service department on tasks when necessary.Coordinate freight ordersPick up, sort, open and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail.Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner.Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:Fluent in French/English both written and orallyPost-secondary education, an assetExceptional verbal communication and strong written communication skills1 year + previous receptionist work experience in a fast-paced office environmentDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong time management and prioritization skillsExcellent listening skillsSelf-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasmWhitebird offers full benefits, tuition reimbursement program, employee awards, monthly company lunches, and a customer-focused, respectful, proactive, responsive and engaging work culture.
