Receptionist – Bilingual

Receptionist required for out client who’s located in the downtown Ottawa area. A lucky bilingual professional will have the opportunity of joining a well established not-for-profit.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receives and welcomes clients, guests, and staff in a professional, courteous manner
  • Screens, directs calls and takes accurate messages in a professional manner
  • Uses computer word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software to prepare business letters, memos and documents
  • Schedules conference calls, arrange space rental and catering for meetings
  • Using available tools as a resource, provides customer focused information services on the phone and in person
  • Maintains office meeting rooms and prepare rooms for meetings
  • Maintains office phone directory and daily emergency contact list
  • Manages incoming and outgoing mail, email, courier packages and faxes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Have 3+ years of experience in an office environment. Must have a consistent amount of reception/administrative support experience
  • Be fluently bilingual – strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English is a must
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: High School Diploma
