Our client in the Mississauga area is currently looking for a Jr. Receptionist for an on-going Receptionist position. The ideal candidate must have a CAN DO attitude and at least 1 year of experience in a Reception role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen calls, and relay messages
  • Manage the front of the office
  • Act as the first point of contact in the office
  • Greet and direct clients and visitors
  • Maintain and prepare meeting rooms for clients
  • Maintain the kitchen area (load the dishwasher daily, etc)
  • Organize catering requests
  • Sort and distribute mail, arrange couriers as needed
  • Maintain the internal phone list
  • Track employee attendance
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Assist with maintenance of company intranet (updating documents as needed)
  • Assist with expense management/expense reports
  • Coordinate conference calls
  • Act as back up support to the Office Manager
  • Act as point of contact for facilities/maintenance
  • Update client database
  • Other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar admin/reception role
  • Finance industry experience is a strong asset
  • Must have excellent client service skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to take initiative
  • Friendly and positive attitude
