Our well known non-profit client in the Toronto area has an immediate opportunity for a Receptionist to join their team for a short term contract! The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Reception and Administration experience, excellent computer skills including Raiser’s Edge (asset).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors in person and over the phone
  • Handles incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages
  • Manages the office security system
  • Maintains office supplies: monitors inventory, anticipates requirements, places orders and confirms receipt
  • Prepares bank deposits as required
  • Input data into the Raiser’s Edge database
  • Filing and other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1 year experience in an office setting
  • Reception and customer service experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Word, Outlook & Excel, database software programs
  • Positive attitude and excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of various office systems and equipment
  • Written and verbal French is an asset
