Position Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, this position provides reception and administrative support to the HR Team, including the Director, Human Resources, Organizational Quality, Safety and Wellness. In this role, the incumbent will participate in special projects, support the recruitment function, and will manage the organizational and administrative needs of the HR Department in an accurate and timely manner.


– Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related discipline required
– Attainment of, or working towards Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred.


– A minimum of 1 year of recent relevant Human Resources experience required
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
– Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
– Strong organizational and time management skills with orientation towards detail.
– Ability to understand and manage situations utilizing emotional intelligence.
– Ability to recognize, handle and protect highly sensitive and confidential information.
– Ability to ad apt to change and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficient in the use of a variety of software packages (ie. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
– Good performance and attendance record required.
