Receptionist – Temporary/Contract

Our client, a consulting firm in downtown Vancouver, is currently seeking a Receptionist for a 2-week contract! The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working in a busy reception role handling multiple phone lines, excellent communication and a positive, hard-working attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact to the office for all visitors
  • Answer and redirect phone calls using a multi-line switchboard
  • Perform ad hoc admin tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying and scanning

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a busy reception role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
