Receptionist / Administrative Assistant “Chief Magic Maker”

David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
– titled “Chief Magic Maker ” based in Edmonton, AB.

Our client, a prestigious corporate firm in the downtown core is looking to hire a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to work within their busy office for a 6 month temporary coverage.

Advanced MS Word and Excel skills are essential for this role.

– APPLY NOW The Role: Answering telephones in a prompt & professional manner Meeting and greeting clients and guests Handling special requests for high-level clients & executives, as needed Calling vendors for all requests when directed Provide back up support to other members within the human resources and facilities departments Assisting with composing correspondence, providing assistance, and other administrative duties Making extensive travel arrangements Creating expense reports for members of the investment team Generating reports using Microsoft Excel Serving as a liaison with other departments as needed Supporting staff in special projects Assisting with escorting office guests into conference rooms Ordering supplies The Ideal Candidate: 2 years previous Reception / Administration experience at a high level Intermediate user of MS Word and Excel Approachable and friendly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team A results-oriented personality with the ability to take initiative Experience in a legal environment is considered an asset If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please click the Apply button to send your resume in confidence directly to Rachael Healy, Consultant, Aplin Office Professionals, Temporary / Permanent.
