Receptionist, Consumer Financial Recovery Service

Your opportunity Our Vernon office is looking for a Receptionist to join our Consumer Financial Recovery Service team on a full time basis and own the following responsibilities: Reception duties including answering and directing incoming phone calls/emails, faxes, greeting clients/visitors and ensuring appropriate COVID measures are met Assist consumer debtors and creditors, both in person and by telephone, as it relates to various types of debt restructurings.

Review and assist in completion of applications, asset forms and prepare files: prepare Statement of Affairs and other documents for personal debt restructurings (e.g.

input creditor and asset information), dealing with preauthorized payments and their creation Schedule counseling and other appointments Scanning all related documents into electronic filing system Maintaining prospect database and updating as required, including scanning incoming information into prospect folders Various central processing tasks as required, such as entering proofs of claims, income and expense reports, submitting tax information for processing, and/or dealing with assets.

Accept client payments, prepare and process POS settlement, create receipts (collect cash payments and cheques) Ensuring reception area is opened/closed appropriately and maintaining appearance and cleanliness of reception area and meeting rooms (giving consideration to confidential materials related to client packages, mail, etc) How do we define success for your role?

Your experience and education Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Experience in a professional reception role and general administrative duties is advantageous A Business Diploma, Office Administration course or similar is highly regarded Proven ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, ensure attention to detail and stay organized within a busy work environment Ability to work flexible hours and over time as needed Intermediate skill level using Microsoft office products, and experience using Ascend (specialized insolvency program) is considered great asset Why BDO?
