This is a Contract position in Cariboo Regional District, BC posted February 4, 2020.

Randstad is now looking for a full-time friendly Receptionist for our client in Greater Victoria for a temporary position to manage their front desk and provide admin support to the office.

ADMINISTRATIVE/RECEPTIONIST Opportunity: Temporary Location: Victoria, Downtown BC, Hours: 9:00 am
– 5:00 pm, Monday
– Friday Start: As soon as possible It will give fantastic opportunity to interact with diverse customers as well as performing clerical office duties.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Receive and greet all visitors in a professional and warm manner
• Answer the phone, direct calls, accurately receive and relay messages
• Processing mail
• Ensure professional and friendly interactions with internal and external customers.

• Perform data-entry, documentation, printing and filing duties
• Ensuring delivered equipment is organized and labelled
• Providing overall support to the running of the office
• Admin support projects as designated As a small office with dynamic needs, not all duties and responsibilities can be documented.

All employees in the company are expected to be flexible and adaptable and to take on new and different work, as required and as the business necessitates, on an occasional or on-going basis.

Everyone pitches in to do what it takes to meet the needs of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem solving skills and accountability for work assigned or taken on
• Experience with multi-line phones
