We are looking for a Clerk/Receptionist, Mental Health and Substance Use Services, based out of Timber Creek located in Surrey, B.C.

to work on a casual basis.

Your specific job duties will include: Receives and directs clients, couriers, volunteers and the general public to appropriate person(s) or areas; responds to general inquiries.

Answers the telephone in the main telephone area; responds to and refers inquiries; redirects calls and/or relays messages to staff and clients.

Types a variety of documents/correspondence such as letters, memos, discharge plans, faxes and email, policies and procedures; prepares general correspondence for management and clinical staff, prepares routine letters as required.

Arranges and confirms appointments, arranges meetings and books meeting rooms.

Attends meetings as required and records, transcribes and distributes minutes.

Processes incoming and outgoing materials; maintains filing systems, records, informational material and office supplies inventory; performs photocopying tasks.

You will take a thorough, hands-on approach to deliver high quality and precise work.

A focused approach is needed to complete routine day to day tasks and handle changing calendars, priorities, and timelines.

You will carry a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Are you motivated to join the team?

We will be looking for you to have the following: Grade 12 plus two (2) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Ability to keyboard at 50 w.p.m.
