This is a Contract position in Surrey, BC posted May 14, 2021.

What is the opportunity?

As the Receptionist for RBC Wealth Management, you will be the initial point of contact for our Salmon Arm Office.

You will be responsible for greeting and receiving clients, guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

As a valued member of our team, you will also assist with other administrative duties as required.

What will you do?

– Answer and manage all calls on the reception phone.

Having a professional, composed and friendly telephone manner is a necessity.

– Provide attentive and accurate service to clients and respond to their needs
– Prepare cheques and daily bank deposits
– Filing, scanning, preparing daily branch reports
– Coordinate and manage bookings for meeting rooms; arrange catering as required
– Assist with maintenance of staff kitchen and meeting room; including ordering supplies
– Contribute to the team by assisting with coordinating any staff functions
– Ensure the boardrooms are neat and tidy, setup laptops for presentations What do you need to succeed?

– Impeccable client servicing skills
– A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in an Office environment
– A strong aptitude with MS Office products, i.e., Word and Excel
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
– Strong multi-tasking skills Nice-to-have
