We are currently recruiting for a top notch Administrative Assistant in our Mississauga office. The successful candidate will professionally represent Sonitrol in all forms of contact with clients and prospective clients, and will have a proven background in an administrative capacity.

You have a positive, team-oriented attitude and have a passion for customer service. If you wish to apply, you must be confident that you possess the requisite professionalism and self-confidence to be the Gatekeeper for a busy office.

The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills, and be comfortable filling a dynamic and pivotal role. Primary duties include working for executive management as well as supporting the sales staff in an administrative capacity.

Tasks include, answering incoming business lines and directing call traffic, document support for a sales and customer service team, management of daily mail and meeting spaces, files, backups, office inventory, creation of company newsletter and enforcing strict door control procedure and other miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications needed to win an interview for the position include: demonstrated use of professional telephone skills, excellent written and verbal communication, people skills and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced level skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. A keyboarding speed of 80 wpm is essential. Previous experience using a multi-line telephone system, voice mail and professional phone manners are needed.

The candidate must have excellent writing skills, with an emphasis on grammar and punctuation. You must be well-groomed and have a very professional appearance since you will be first in line to greet clients and visitors.
